Areej Zulfiqar
Autumn Buckley, originally from Vilseck, Germany, is currently pursuing an undergraduate BA/JD honors program in political science and international relations at Howard University. She broadened her horizons during a study abroad program at Oxford University, where she explored the intersection of philosophy of religion and international law. Her research focuses on innovating conflict resolution methods at the United Nations.

On campus, Autumn holds leadership positions as the president of the United Nations Howard Chapter, secretary of the Chinese Culture Club, and a dedicated delegate on the Model United Nations team. Off-campus, she's a John Lewis Young Leaders fellow at the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Center, reflecting her commitment to global human rights issues. Autumn's international experience includes roles as a student trainee at the Peace Corps office and an international rule of law assistant at the State Department's Judicial Liaison branch. These experiences have contributed significantly to her understanding of international affairs and her commitment to making a positive impact in this field.
