Deb Landau
Program Coordinator, U.S. Civil Society Working Group on Women, Peace, and Security, USIP

Deb Landau is the Program Coordinator for the U.S. Civil Society Working Group on Women, Peace, and Security (U.S. CSWG) at the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, DC. The U.S. CSWG is a non-partisan network of 39 civil society organizations working on issues involving women, war, and peace  In her role as Program Coordinator, Deb oversees implementation of grant work with a primary focus on education and outreach to Congress and the Executive Branch on issues related to the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda as well as best practices for including gender perspectives in U.S. foreign policy.

Prior to joining USIP, Deb served as a Gender and Global Security Program Assistant at Women In International Security (WIIS). She has also previously worked for U.S. Senator Robert P. Casey, Jr. (PA) in his Washington, DCoffice. Deb holds an MA in International Affairs from the School of International Service at American University and a BA in Political Science from Allegheny College.
