Young Professionals

UNA-NCA Young Professionals (YP) is a DC-based network of individuals that works together to make a positive impact on the international community. Want to make the world a better place, but not sure where to start? Volunteering with YP exposes you to young professionals from varying backgrounds – whether diverse nationalities or opposing careers. Through collaboration, YP members volunteer their time to advocate for international issues and innovate new ideas on how to facilitate global exchange.

Events
YP organizes a variety of events – from panels to brown bags – focused on topical and current issues in international affairs.

Mentoring
YP volunteers serve as peer-mentors for other members pursuing careers in their sector.

Leadership Development
YP volunteers participate in organizational training aiming to develop skills and talents—from marketing to event planning to fundraising— of tomorrow’s leaders.
