Summer Program/Job for High School Students: Jobs for SCA's DC Conservation Crew program is currently accepting applications for a meaningful and educational summer experience. Crew members work Monday through Friday for eight hours a day and receive a $1400 stipend for their participation. During the seven-week program, crews (six participants and one leader) will spend five weeks completing trail maintenance and restoration projects and participating in environmental education activities in local National Parks (Rock Creek, C&O Canal, Greenbelt, Ft. Washington, and others). Crew members also receive additional training in leadership, job skills, resume writing and green job training. The final week of the program is spent on a 4-day 3-night camping trip. Program Dates: June 27-August 15th.
