David M. Luna
David is CEO of Luna Global Networks & Convergence Strategies LLC. A former US diplomat and national security official, David is a globally-recognized strategic thought leader, and a leading voice internationally on transnational threats, geopolitical risks, and global illicit economies. David is also Founder and Executive Director of the International Coalition Against Illicit Economies (ICAIE). David held numerous senior positions with the U.S. Department of State; and was an advisor to the Secretary’s Coordinator for the Rule of Law. David also served as an Assistant Counsel to the President, Office of the Counsel to the President, The White House; and other positions with the U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Senate.

David is currently a Member of the B20 (G20) Integrity & Compliance Task Force; Chair of the Business at OECD Anti-Illicit Trade Expert Group (AITEG); Chair of U.S. Council for International Business (USCIB) AITC; Senior Fellow for National Security, and co-Director of the Anti-Illicit Trade Institute (AITI), Terrorism, Transnational Crime, and Corruption Center (TraCCC), Schar School of Policy and Government, George Mason University.

I am honored to receive the endorsement by the 2021 Nominating Committee as candidate for a Director-at-Large position on the Board of Directors for the UNA-NCA and committed to mentor the next generation of young professionals interested in international relations, and to enrich UNA-NCA and to advance its noble mission including the SDGs, peace and security global agenda.
