Avinash Thakkar is currently a first-year student at Stanford University serving as an Executive Board Intern for the Stanford International Affairs Society and a member of Stanford India Policy and Economics Club. He possesses a deep passion for international relations, with a particular interest in the global legal frameworks, economic considerations, and geostrategic alliances that shape international cooperation. 

At UNA-NCA, he is a legislative intern conducting research on international policy, with a focus on great power competition and its implications for multilateral initiatives. Through his scholarship, advocacy, community service, teaching, and mentoring, Avinash believes in the idea of world unity and peace. An aspiring global leader, he aims to bridge gaps between nations for a better tomorrow. 

With a love for language, Avinash also speaks Gujarati, Hindi, Kutchi, and French fluently and is learning Arabic. When he isn’t reading, gardening, or playing cricket, Avinash is usually cooking, tuning into C-Span, or playing the drums.
