Julia serves UNA-NCA as the Gender Policy Legislative Assistant on the Advocacy and Outreach team. At UNA-NCA, she is working to assess legislation that targets gender based discrimination in the National Capital Area, contribute to efforts to increase outreach and engagement with UNA members and local council members, and to promote awareness, support for, and the passage of the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women.

As a student, Julia worked with on campus organizations to educate students about interpersonal violence and its prevention and spent time working with the National Human Trafficking Hotline to improve its ability to serve victims of human trafficking. She earned her degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Policy in 2020 and hopes to continue to work in labor policy and violence prevention.

Julia grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania and enjoys rock climbing, singing in a choir, and traveling.
