Jaiya Lalla leads the Global Classrooms DC (GCDC) program, UNA-NCA's flagship education program. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in International Affairs from the George Washington University, where she focused on Security Policy and Asia. Jaiya has sought to take her passion for studying religion and apply it to the international affairs landscape, focusing specifically on the role of religion on policies in South Asia.
In addition to previously acting as the GCDC Program Assistant and Deputy Manager, she has extensive experience in the government and local organizations, including the Senate, Peace Corps, the Department of State, the National Endowment for Democracy, and more. Jaiya hails from Southwest Florida and enjoys Bollywood dance and exploring the food and interfaith landscapes of the District.
