Praveena Bandara
Praveena serves as a SDG research assistant for the Global Goals at Home Team. Her work focuses on refining the scope of the goals by clarifying terminology, contextualizing, and localizing concepts to identify gaps in SDG orientation and adoption by state governments. Prior to joining the GGH team, Praveena completed a graduate fellowship and an advocacy fellowship with UNA-NCA. Her advocacy writing focused on the status of immigrant care workers in the US.

Praveena is a fourth-year PhD student in Economics at American University. Her research interests are in Development Macroeconomics and International Trade.
