Director of Budget, CSIS Global Development Department

 


Allison is the budget director for the Global Development Department at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). She is experienced in finance, nonprofit management, operations and strategic planning. Allison previously led programs focused on global health, international education exchange, climate change, career pathways for youth and the disabled. Her specializations include strategy, administration, contracts, budget and project management. Having worked extensively with stakeholders across sectors and geographies, including those in China, Turkey, South Africa and Latin America she understands the critical role that strategic leadership, clear messaging and inspiration plays in addressing and guiding systemic challenges. A certified project management professional (PMP, Allison also holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in NGO management from the New York University Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Mandarin Chinese from Bates College. She is also conversant in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.


Vision Statement

Allison believes that everyone can affect positive change through their actions, and she will further the vision and mission of UNA-NCA by supporting the next generation of global leaders within the Global Classrooms and Young Professionals programs. She is excited by the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of UNA - NCA.
