Volunteer Leadership Opportunity
Don’t miss this opportunity to share your expertise and engage enthusiastic volunteers to support a better U.S.-UN partnership in the greater DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia communities. Program Committee Co-Chairs are vital members of UNA-NCA and can shape the conversation around issues that matter through empowering volunteers to organize events, write blogs and white papers, collaborate with thought-leaders, and co-lead advocacy initiatives. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

In Partnership with the Charles Malik Institute
In light of the UDHR 75th anniversary, UNA-NCA and the Charles Malik Institute will be hosting a celebration event on October 3, 2023 at The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. The event will include the screening of the documentary "Charles Malik: A Universal Person." The Lebanese philosopher turned master diplomat Charles Malik played, together with few other international experts, a crucial role in drafting of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

A Virtual Roundtable Event!

UNA-NCA’s Global Goals at Home Program will be hosting a virtual roundtable event with Sustainability Coordinators from the cities of College Park, Laurel, and Bowie on October 10th from 6:00pm-7:00pm ET to discuss current sustainability initiatives and share best practices. Through open dialogue, this event will provide an opportunity for coordinators to identify common challenges they face in their countries and inform community members on resources available at the city level.
