Bart helps directors and boards address their most challenging oversight responsibilities by sharing evidence-based insights and leading innovative research programs.

For more than 20 years, Bart has provided board and C-suite executives with actionable insights and guidance in addressing their most significant challenges. He is a frequent speaker at board and corporate governance conferences and has written extensively about important board topics.

Before joining EY, Bart held senior research and advisory roles at several professional services firms, most recently at the National Association of Corporate Directors

Bart has a PhD in government and master’s degrees in political theory and international relations from the London School of Economics and a BA in political science from Colgate University.

As Vice Chair of Strategy and Operations, Bart will work closely with the President and Board Chair to shape the vision, strategy, and operational framework of the organization to leverage its resources and achieve its goals, supporting a robust connection between communities, membership, and the United Nation's mission; deepening stakeholder engagement; and supporting long-term growth for UNA-NCA.
