Previous Director of Employee Experience at Innovations for Poverty Action

 


Jessica D. Tollette, PhD, brings over 15 years of experience advancing equity and inclusion across global nonprofits and academia. She specializes in aligning people, purpose, and policy to build inclusive cultures and drive impact. Most recently, she served as Director of Employee Experience at Innovations for Poverty Action, leading global strategies to enhance engagement, equity, and organizational alignment. Previously, she was the founding program director of an innovative bachelor’s degree at IE Business School in Madrid and has designed award-winning courses on identity, inclusion, and well-being. A Fulbright Scholar and Humanity in Action Senior Fellow, Jessica is deeply committed to amplifying underrepresented voices in global affairs. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Harvard University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. Jessica is excited to bring her passion for global cooperation and inclusive leadership to the UNA-NCA board to help shape a more equitable, interconnected world.


Vision Statement

Jessica is especially passionate about increasing diversity in diplomacy, policy, and advocacy work. She aims to further the mission of UNA-NCA by supporting the development of inclusive programming, expanding partnerships with academic institutions, and leveraging her teaching, mentorship, and facilitation skills to support young professionals.
