Under what conditions can the United Nations assist me?
Most of the time, the United Nations can only help individuals who feel that their human rights have been violated if the individuals have gone to the furthest end of their countries judicial system. For example, in the United States, a person would have to take their case to the Supreme Court and feel that their human rights are still violated before seeking assistance from the United Nations.
