Aidan Armagh is a rising Junior at Columbia University studying Political Science and History with a concentration in International Relations. This summer, he will work as a GCDC Program Assistant at UNA-NCA.Throughout his academic career, a passion for international law, human rights, and disability justice has driven Aidan's interests and goals. These passions have manifested themselves in his contributions to his school's human rights magazine, "Continents," and Columbia's Undergraduate Law Review, where he has focused on issues related to educational disparities due to physical and learning disabilities, particularly in the developing world. His goal is to increase youth access to education globally. His work organizing voter registration drives and cultivating partnerships with small businesses for New York City Council campaigns, as a campaign intern, reflects his desire to engage in the political system to create positive change. In the future, he aims to attend law school and engage the international community on issues surrounding educational access and the rule of law.
