Harper Reuss
GCDC Program Assistant

Originally from Long Island, New York, Harper is excited to join UNA-NCA as a summer intern through the National Council on U.S.- Arab Relations’ Washington, D.C. Summer Internship Program. A rising senior at Denison University majoring in Politics and Public Affairs, with a concentration in International Relations, Harper brings to the table a strong foundation in diplomacy, global security, and U.S. foreign policy. Harper has studied international affairs through immersive programs in Copenhagen and Geneva, where he focused on counterterrorism, global governance, and multilateral diplomacy. His coursework and fieldwork have included academic engagements with institutions such as the United Nations and European Union, and research on international security and armed non-state actors. Outside the classroom, Harper has developed skills in research, communication, and policy analysis, and has an ever growing interest in strategic studies and national security. He is eager to support UNA-NCA’s mission and contribute to its programming and outreach this summer.
