Sarah Soussi works as a Global Classrooms DC Program Assistant for the UNA-NCA. She recently graduated from Boston University's Pardee School of Global Studies with an M.A. in International Affairs specializing in international communication. She graduated with a B.A. in English from University of California Berkeley and has volunteered for non-profit organizations such as Tree People, Heal the Bay, and the Anike Foundation. She was raised in a multicultural home with a Moroccan father and American mother, which sparked her interest in foreign affairs and the Arab world. Passionate about global politics and communication, she is striving to have a positive impact on vulnerable communities around the globe. She has published articles in the CPD Blog at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy, Caliber Magazine, and the Cambridge Day. She hopes to build great personal connections this summer with the UNA-NCA and aspires to gain vital experience and better knowledge about global education and advocacy for young people.
