Global Classrooms DC 2024 Spring Conference Sponsorship

Global Classrooms DC (GCDC) is the flagship education program of The United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (UNA-NCA). For 20 years, GCDC has worked year-round with students in grades 5-12, including some of DC’s most underserved communities, to build global and cultural awareness, improve public speaking, critical thinking, and writing skills, and expand students’ views of local and international issues. Every spring, GCDC holds its Model UN Conference, the culmination and exhibition of students' preparation throughout the school year. As a result of the conference, a strong majority of students each year report being more confident in their public speaking and negotiation skills, more knowledgeable in major global issues, and having a greater appreciation of their position as global citizens. The 20th Annual Spring Model UN Conference is taking place at the United States Institute of Peace on April 29, 2024.

Each sponsorship package can be customized to fit sponsors marketing goals and expectations.

About the GCDC Model UN Conference

• The conference provides free access for DC public and public charter school students
• Brings together partners and volunteers from a variety of stakeholders, including State Department and UN officials and employees, university students, and professionals from the DC-area
