Neah Evering is a native Washingtonian. She currently serves as a legislative counsel to At Large Council Member Robert C. White, Jr. In this capacity she advises the Council Member on a myriad of issues including policies related to religious affairs, contracting and procurement, women’s rights, the local fashion and beauty industry, public workers’ compensation, and some liability insurance issues.

Prior to working for the DC Council Neah worked as a law clerk to both the Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division at the DC Superior Court and the Chief Judge of the DC Superior Court. She is licensed to practice law in Washington, DC; and graduated from American University Washington College of Law in 2019 with her Juris Doctor. Neah attended Spelman College for undergrad and graduated with a double major in French and Political Science.
