Sarah Bassil serves as the Advocacy & Digital Outreach Coordinator for UNA-NCA. Here, she promotes UNA-NCA's advocacy policies at the local, state, and national level by engaging with policy officials and keeping the UNA-NCA membership informed on the latest policies and priorities

Ms. Bassil is an experienced professional, spending many years working at internationally-focused nonprofits in research, communications, and advocacy positions. She has also completed two Congressional Internships on Capitol Hill and a program with the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ms. Bassil graduated with her Bachelors of Arts degree in Government and International Politics at the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Also at the Schar School, she is currently pursuing her Masters of Arts degree in International Security. Additionally, Ms. Bassil is a Graduate Research Assistant at George Mason’s Center for Resilient and Sustainable Communities (C-RASC).
