Sarah Bassil is a communications and policy professional with extensive experience in advocacy, international security, and digital outreach. She has supported U.S. government agencies, international organizations, and academic institutions through strategic messaging, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Advocacy & Digital Outreach for the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area, she leads Congressional outreach efforts and manages digital communications initiatives.

With a strong background in international relations and security, Sarah has also contributed to high-visibility research projects on terrorism, transnational crime, and global security issues. She holds a Master of Arts in International Security with a concentration in transnational challenges at George Mason University. Through her combination of communications leadership, academic research, and policy advocacy, Sarah continues to advance dialogue and solutions at the intersection of security, governance, and human rights. .
