Destini Amaris Perkins

Destini Amaris Perkins is an advocate, speaker, and event producer with seven years of grassroots advocacy and lobbying experience across California, Utah, and Washington, D.C. Her career is rooted in empowerment, civic engagement, and community-building by bridging communities through education, strategic partnerships, and accessible resources. Destini's leadership journey began early, holding positions within the North San Diego NAACP Youth Council, where she developed the advocacy skills that would define her career. Her contributions have been formally recognized with certificates from the United States Congress, the County of San Diego, the California State Assembly, and the City of Carlsbad, as well as being named Star Student of the Month at Sage Creek High School. She has been invited to speak on stages and lead workshops nationwide, expanding her impact through a partnership with Utah Valley University's Center for Social Impact, where she co-presented workshops on the CROWN Act, anti-discrimination policy, and civic advocacy. Her work promoting natural hair empowerment and representation was featured on KUTV News in connection with her Love Your Curls event. Over the years, Destini has produced numerous social impact events and collaborated with a range of brands and nonprofit organizations to advance advocacy and community empowerment. She holds Associate's degrees in both Marketing and Communications.
