Elie Jabbour
GCDC Program Assistant
Elie Jabbour is a rising sophomore at Purdue University Northwest, where he is majoring in Political Science with minors in Economics and Public Policy and Administration. He is expected to graduate in May 2028. His academic interests focus on diplomacy, international relations, and Middle Eastern politics. Elie discovered his true passion through Model United Nations, where he developed an interest in global affairs and politics. Having grown up in the Middle East, originally Syrian and living in Kuwait, he developed a deep interest in Middle Eastern affairs and politics, with a particular passion for understanding regional challenges and global cooperation. This summer, he hopes to gain hands-on experience in international affairs through his placement with the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area, where he hopes to further develop his skills in research, communication, and global affairs. Through this opportunity, he looks forward to expanding his understanding of diplomacy and international affairs while fostering professional connections within the field of international relations.
