Himaja Balusa is the Global Education Manager at UNA-NCA. She holds an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a double B.A. in International Relations and Women, Gender & Sexuality from the George Washington University.
Prior to joining UNA-NCA, she interned with Represent Women, where she engaged with issues of gender equity and governance. Himaja is passionate about international education, gender equality, and human rights, and has written on global and social issues for various publications. In her role, she supports GCDC’s mission by developing and leading educational programming that helps young people engage with international institutions and global challenges.
