Originally from the Republic of Georgia, Luka brings an international perspective shaped by study, work, and global engagement across eight countries on five continents. His experiences with UN institutions and global affairs programming in Japan, Senegal, France, Argentina, and the United States have strengthened his commitment to peacebuilding, intercultural exchange, human rights, and connecting communities to global issues. He is professionally fluent in English, Spanish, French, Russian, and Georgian, and conversational in Ukrainian, Arabic, and Portuguese.
At UNA-NCA, Luka supports development operations, fundraising strategy and partnership-building efforts that connect local communities with global issues and the work of the United Nations. Outside of work and school, he enjoys running, pottery, cooking, learning languages and traveling.
