UNA-NCA recently hosted a Coffee Chat on DC for CEDAW: Local Implementation of the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women.

Leading a coalition of DC-based organizations, UNA-NCA seeks to ensure continued momentum towards the passage of the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women Amendment Act of 2022, B24-0649 here in D.C. Please take a moment to share the recording with your network and hear leading voices in the Cities for CEDAW movement: Jill Follows from the League of Women Voters, Micaela Paredes with Ratify SF and Neah Evering, Legislative Counsel with DC At-Large Councilmember Robert White.

Looking to the future, UNA-NCA is preparing testimony in support for DC for CEDAW legislation set for a hearing on June 30th hearing.
