Model UN helps prepare students to be young leaders by introducing them to global issues, including those concerning peace and security, the environment, human rights and more. It allows them to critically think about these issues and discuss them with their peers, while also teaching and strengthening important skills including research, writing, public speaking, and negotiation. Hear directly from our students on why Model UN is important.

Your gift will support FREE global education and Model UN programs for underprivileged students. With your support, GCDC can continue to offer FREE and reduced cost program services to GCDC's public school students, including schools classified as Title I and FARM. With the current impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education, your support also helps us to continue to transform our program.

$400 allows over 10 public schools to receive year round programming and 20 students from public schools to attend the annual Spring MUN Conference.

$1400 provides over 30 public schools year round programming and 100 students from public schools to attend the annual Spring Conference.

$5000+ offers year-round programming to over 100 public schools and allows over 250 students from public schools to attend the annual Spring MUN Conference.
