Lydia Daniels
Colleen Cohen is a seasoned media and communication executive, International Development Specialist, and author from Jamaica. She has over a decade of experience in leadership and social impact initiatives. Colleen is currently pursuing a graduate degree in International Development with a concentration in Policy, Governance, and Law at American University, where she also serves as the president of the First-Generation Graduate Society and Vice-President of Management for the Graduate Student Government.

Her work is rooted in empowering communities and fostering positive change. She is the founder of the True Vine Writers Camp, which aims to reduce crime and develop at-risk youth through mentorship, book writing, and employability. Additionally, she has experience conducting development projects in East Africa, including assessing the impact of climate change on informal settlements in Kenya. Her research was recently published in the Journal of International Service where she focused on the Advancement of Community-Led Development in Kenya’s Informal Settlements. Her book, "The True Vine: Your Guide To Spiritual Upliftment," published in April 2017, reflects her commitment to inspiring hope and transforming lives.
