Lydia Daniels
Evan Fishburn is a graduate candidate at Georgetown University’s Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program, concentrating in Global Politics and Security. His research interests include media literacy, fighting disinformation, anti-corruption, public diplomacy, and the arts. Prior to joining MSFS, Evan earned his B.A. from Boise State University in 2018, where he studied English literature, creative writing, and journalism. He also earned certificates in TESOL and digital media and cinema. He attended the Columbia Publishing Course in New York City shortly thereafter and worked as an editorial assistant for Workman, Bloomsbury, and Macmillan publishing companies. In 2021, Evan taught English and American culture to primary school students in rural Spain; in 2022, he received a Fulbright teaching fellowship in Bosnia & Herzegovina, working at an Islamic high school. He looks forward to joining the engaging UNA-NCA program. For fun, he enjoys photography, classical piano, cooking, art museums, and travel.
