Justin Snyder is a graduate student at Georgetown University, pursuing a Master’s in Conflict Resolution. With a strong foundation in Peace and Conflict Studies from Swarthmore College, Justin’s academic and professional journey has been shaped by his commitment to advancing peacebuilding efforts, protecting minority populations, and fostering community security.
Justin’s experiences span international research and grassroots organizing. He has conducted fieldwork in Chile, Nepal, Jordan, and Israel/Palestine, exploring the intersections of social justice, human rights, environmental sustainability, and conflict mitigation. As a former organizer for the League of Conservation Voters (LCV), he has worked to address the socio-political impacts of climate change, which he views as one of the most significant emerging threats to global peace and security.
With a passion for bridging grassroots movements and institutional frameworks, Justin aspires to become a peace practitioner, leveraging his diverse experiences to create sustainable, systemic change in conflict-affected communities worldwide.
