Lydia Daniels
My name is Rachel Saxey, I’m originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. During my undergraduate years, I had the opportunity to teach English abroad for three semesters, an experience that started my passion for international work. I graduated in 2024 from Utah Valley University with a BA in Deaf Studies and American Sign Language Interpreting, and spent the summer interpreting for many clients across Utah before moving to Washington, D.C. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Development at Gallaudet University. I am passionate about working with and advocating for the Deaf community, promoting social justice, ensuring access to clean water, and supporting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
