Na-Yeon Park
Na-Yeon Park is a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Prior to USAID, she worked in education, DPRK counterproliferation programming, consulting, and research and analysis of security challenges in the Asia-Pacific region. As a Donald M. Payne Fellow, Na-Yeon worked at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and USAID's Center for Conflict and Violence Prevention. Na-Yeon's interests include anti-corruption, fair and free elections, climate change, and supporting and advocating for vulnerable and marginalized communities. Born in South Korea, Na-Yeon holds an MA in International Relations and Economics with a focus in Security, Strategy, and Statecraft and The Americas (Latin America and the Caribbean) from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in Political Science, Chinese, and International & Global Studies from Rutgers University. She speaks Korean and Mandarin Chinese.
