Priyanka Sood Jetwani is an infrastructure, climate, and energy finance professional with nearly 20 years of experience at the World Bank Group. She began her career at IFC, where she structured and deployed innovative financing instruments such as guarantees, blended finance, and risk-sharing mechanisms to expand private investment in sustainable infrastructure. She now serves at the Independent Evaluation Group (IEG), where she evaluates World Bank Group operations and generates evidence to inform policy and operational decisions.
She has worked extensively in fragile and conflict-affected countries across Africa and South Asia, advancing sustainable infrastructure and climate solutions in high-risk environments.
Priyanka is passionate about addressing the underrepresentation of women in infrastructure and climate finance. She seeks to inspire young professionals-particularly women-to pursue careers in development finance and multilateral institutions.
