The Emerging Human Rights Leader Award is presented to persons under the age of 40 who have:

  1. Advocated respect for human rights and the SDGs for the global community;
  2. Embodied an empathic and people-centered focus in their work;
  3. Demonstrated commitment to innovation through leadership in human rights;
  4. Demonstrated commitment to lifelong education on human rights.
